Some Quick Starts use advanced logic and add up scores that are displayed on a Results page. In addition to the how-to post with publishing instructions, we’ve created logic templates to make the process of organizing and defining that logic a bit easier. Below you’ll find a guide to the logic template as well as a link to download the logic template itself.

Inputs
The Assessment experience uses a number of inputs to save data. The questions displayed on the page are saved into data fields to centralize the location where they are edited even though they are displayed on both the Welcome and Results pages. The questions are saved to the Question01, Question02, Question03, etc. data fields.
The options for each question are saved to the Answer01, Answer02, Answer03, etc. data fields. Each option is coupled with a letter value as well. These letters are used for advanced logic and to calculate a score. A’s are worth 1 point, B’s are worth 2 points, C’s are worth 3 points and D’s are worth 4 points.
Outputs
The answer to each question is associated with a suggestion. These suggestions are saved to the AnswerSuggestion01, AnswerSuggestion02, AnswerSuggestion03, etc. fields. Depending on which letter was saved to a given Answer field, a corresponding suggestion will be displayed next to the corresponding question and answer on the Results page.
As noted earlier, the letter saved to each Answer field is also referenced to calculate a score for the respondent as well. One of four messages will be saved to a ScoreResults field and displayed on the Results page. The specific message that is saved to the ScoreResults field is driven by the total score the respondent received for the answers that were provided.
